SOYA (called "SOYA", "we", "our" or "us") takes your privacy very seriously and is willing to assure you that your personal information will be kept confidential. The following is our policy for processing the collected data, which applies to any data provided or collected through our website http://soya.hk/Shop and/or mobile apps and/or services. Our apps include SOYA mobile and tablet apps or any apps on social media or other websites (all referred to as "apps") and branches (all referred to as "services"). We will comply with the requirements set by the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, which is revised from time to time, to achieve personal data protection standards.

1. Personal data we collect

1.1 When you use our website, applications and services, we will collect the following data from you, and this data may include personal data as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (referred to as "data"):

1.1.1 Your personal information such as your name, address, mobile phone number, date of birth and email address;

1.1.2 Your credit or debit card information and billing information, including cardholder name, card number, billing address and expiry date;

1.1.3 Collect your photos from our Facebook page; and

1.1.4 You can optionally provide information about your occupation, age, gender, number of family members, age group of family members, marital status and monthly family income.

2. Purpose of collecting and using data

2.1 The information you provide will be used for the purposes for which it was collected and directly related purposes as follows:

2.1.1 For security reasons, we will use your email address to confirm that you are yourself when you log in to our online ordering service;

2.1.2 Provide online ordering services;

2.1.3 To consider or implement any request or application of any nature that you make online, telephone or other means;

2.1.4 Register our activities including sales activities with gifts;

2.1.5 Process accounts and payment of fees, maintain credit records, determine the number of outstanding payments, and, if necessary, collect outstanding payments;

2.1.6 Provide delivery documents;

2.1.7 Conduct market analysis;

2.1.8 Handle and follow up complaints, inquiries or feedback;

2.1.9 To manage the competitions and lottery events held by us, including the announcement of the winners of any such competitions and the receipt of prizes;

2.1.11 Disclosure to any Hong Kong government, legal and regulatory authorities following any legal requirements that are binding on us; and

3. Use of information for direct marketing

3.1 We intend to use your information for direct marketing purposes. If we do not obtain your consent (including expressing any objection), we will not use your information for direct marketing purposes.

3.2 We intend to use your personal information in our records, including your name, mobile phone number, email, and/or mailing address to contact you for the following matters:

3.2.1 About our products, services and promotional activities; and

3.2.2 Products, services and promotional activities related to banking, tourism, entertainment and telecommunications provided by our business partners (referred to as "business partners").

3.3 We will provide your information to SOYA Doufu Group and third-party customer rewards, members, cooperative brands or preferential program providers, and the relevant information may be used by the above parties for direct promotion of their products and services. However, we will not disclose your information to any third party for direct marketing purposes without your consent.

3.4 You can contact us through any of the free channels mentioned in paragraph 8 and choose not to receive the marketing notifications mentioned in paragraph 3.2 and/or request us to stop transferring your information to our business partners. If you choose not to receive such promotional materials, you can also choose to unsubscribe from each email, short message or multimedia message (MMS) that we send to you, or notify us in other ways.

4. Disclosure of information to third parties

4.1 We will not transfer, sell, rent or trade your information with third parties (including our business partners). However, we will transfer your information to the following third parties located in or outside Hong Kong:

4.1.1 Third-party service providers ("third-party service providers") hired by us to assist us in market research, customer service, advertising, printing and gift redemption;

4.1.2 Hong Kong government, legal or regulatory agencies;

4.1.3 Our legal and financial advisors;

4.1.4 Credit information or reference agencies;

4.1.5 Debt collection agency; and

4.1.6 If SOYA is transferred, if it is acquired by another company or merged with another company, we are the transferee or heir of the title.

4.2 We may provide or allow our third-party service providers to use your information, but the use is only to provide the above-mentioned services on our behalf.

5. Security and accuracy of information

5.1 The data collected from you will be stored in a server with restricted access, or translated into a password and transferred to other servers with authorized third parties listed in paragraph 4.1. We will maintain protective devices to protect the security of these servers and your data.

5.2 The security of your information depends on how you protect your login password. Please do not disclose your login password to unauthorized persons.

5.3 to collect your information, we will take reasonable steps as necessary to ensure that your information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. The information we use constantly, including the information disclosed to third parties, will generally be kept accurate and up-to-date. You can also update or change the information we hold following paragraph 8.

6.1 Your order will also be stored in the database for statistical purposes to improve our service quality.
